# Chaotic COD Timeline/Callouts ## Preamble This is a personally made document for me. While I hope others can get use out of what's listed here, I can't say whether or not it'll be perfectly translatable for others. In general, anything inside [] will be resolved straight after that mechanic. _{TANK SWAP}_ refers to *good* times to swap tanks, but it won't be foolproof. ## Phase 0 Blade Of Darkness - Left, Right, Out Blade Of Darkness - Left, Right, Out Deluge of Darkness - Bleedwide, need big mits ## Phase 1 Grim Embrace - F/B, B/F, determines the order of hands later. Cloudlets (Fans) - Appear during Grim, start shortly after, 2 side steps to dodge. _{TANK SWAP}_ The timeline will now diverge, depending on what's casted: ### Split 1 (Death/Aero casted) Death/Aero - Max melee or Tips of diamonds Blade of Darkness - Left, Right, Out En(death,aero) - Stores death/aero for next blade of darkness, remember this. Rapid-sequence particle beam - Alliance stacks w/ tanks in front. (a bit of mitigation is nice) Cloudlets (Fans) again _{TANK SWAP}_ Blade of darkness - REMEMBER STORED MECHANIC STRAIGHT AFTER; KB immune 1/2 way through Flare - A/B/C, or jump off if you can't make it, otherwise under her chin ### Split 2 (Flare casted) Flare - A/B/C, or jump off if you cannot make it, otherwise under her chin. Unholy Darkness - LP stacks, find your healer Blade of Darkness - L, R, O En(death,aero) - Stored for next BoD, remember _{TANK SWAP}_ -> Hands before. Break - Eyes spawn, call a/b/c as safest look. If player is petrified, should cast KB invuln as soon as they're out. Blade Of Darkness - L, R, O w/ stored mechanic. KB invuln at 3.5s / 1/2 cast left. _{TANK SWAP}_ -> Right around the KB invuln time Cloudlets (Fans) again. _{TANK SWAP}_ Aero/Death - Same as always ### Always Flood of Darkness - Moderate damage, but don't use heavy mit on it ## Phase 2 Deluge of Darkness - Arena change, big mits, bleed-wide, give party buffs before leaving _Tanks should provoke targets._ _DPS should kill Atomos._ Dark Dominion - Big hurt raidwide, only tiles can directly mit the boss (feint/etc) !! NEEDS MIT. Third Art of Darkness - Cleave/Spreads/Pairs, call as it's seen Towers - Spawn during Third Art, tiles players should preposition for their tower. Third art players should go directly after. **NO OPEN TOWERS** (prefer vuln stacks over an open tower, as that kills). Ghastly Gloom - Donut/Cross (in/far out) Curse of Darkness - Big raidwide from adds, starting gaze times. [**SHORT GAZE**] Brambles - Targets 8 players with a seed, players should bring to their waymarks. Ghastly Gloom - Donut/Cross (Opp of other cast) [**MED GAZE**] Thorny Vines - Bramble tethers. Platforms gets the physical brambles, tiles get their own set of tethers together. Tiles tanks should tuck into the cubby created by brambles. _*POT WINDOW HERE*_ [_*Flood Of Darkness*_] - Casted during this time TANKS/PHYS RANGE MUST INTERRUPT OR IT HURTS Spreads/Stacks - If she glows purple, big stacks, platform should only have melee/tank on it, rest of them spread on the ring. If she glows orange, stacks. Healer to refresh tiles, tank in front, eat the hit (this should be decently mitigated) _REFRESHES SHOULD BE DONE HERE, NO REFRESHES DURING MK_ Mario Kart - Adds will cast core/lateral phaser, platform dodge this, then players must go to their MK positions. No more refreshes, you'll die. [**LAST GAZE**] Excruciate - Tank buster, directly after MK, is an AOE so tanks should take this away from group Looming Chaos - Swaps positions. [ATOMOS WILL SPAWN, DPS KILL BEFORE SWAPS] ### Phase 2 - Swaps _Tanks should provoke their targets_ Curse of darkness - Gazes Towers spawn, before resolve Core/Lateral Phaser - Same thing as before, go into towers straight after this resolves. [**FIRST GAZE**] Dark Dominion - Big damage, needs mit. Third Art of Darkness - Always pairs [**SECOND GAZE**] (ATOMOS SPAWN) AT THE SAME TIME AS TAoD (this should be called out over it). Chasers - Players should be positioned in the front left of their tiles. Players may get a marker, they need to move as *soon* as they get it. Tanks need to tuck into the cubby that was opened if they don't have a chaser. Cross/Donut - In/Out Core/Lateral - Platforms Spreads/Stacks - Orange to stack, purple to spread [**THIRD GAZE**] Flood of Darkness - Interrupts from adds on platforms. Evaporation - Start P3/Enrage transition (this is a decent time to healer LB3 to get bodies) ## Phase 3 Boss health should be at ~25% or less. Pop melee LB3 (but prefer healer LB3). Flood of Darkness - Smaller raidwide, small mits Boss Teleports to North Deluge of Darkness - Big raidwide as before, mits, etc needed. Repeat of phase 1 mechanics.
